Over 240 people celebrated the Receveur Anniversary mass.  Fr Paul Smith OFM Minister Provincial, Francisan Friars Holy Spirit Province delivered the Homily.  Mass was con-celebrated by Father Laurie Cauchi, Parish Priest of St. Andrew’s Malabar, Father Jan Chrzczonowicz, Chaplain to the Francophone Catholic Community, amd Father Paul Ghanem, Vocations Director for the Franciscan Friars.   The first reader was Steve Caulfield from St Andrews. Also from St Andrews was June London, the commentator and organiser Lee Leo.

The La Perouse Precinct meets the first Monday of each month at 7pm at Prince Henry Community Centre -  except in January when there is no meeting and October when the meeting is shifted to the second Monday because of the Public Holiday.  The final meeting for the year is the Precinct Christmas Party.

Dates for 2010 are as follows:

The Randwick–Botany Harriers Athletics Club Inc and White Saville Pty Ltd will conduct the Yarra Bay Fun Run and Walk. The event will commence at the amenities block in Yarra Bay Park at 6:00 am and travel along the following route: from the bike path around Yarra Bay Park to the Bicentennial Park car park in Military Road, enter onto Military Road (through the new car park), proceed along Military Road to Prince of Wales Drive, veer left onto Prince of Wales Drive, proceed along the pathway in Prince of Wales Drive to the end, turning at the end of Prince Of Wales Drive and proceeding
around the traffic island, continue back along the pathway in Prince of Wales Drive to Military Road, proceed along Military Road past the new Bicentennial Park car park to the Cemetery flower shop, turn right onto concrete bike path in front of the Cemetery flower shop, continue along the new bike path that follows along the Cemetery fence then back to the start/finish line at the amenities block, at approximately 1:00pm.

 Venue:  La Perouse Headland.  Choir and Altar on verandah of Laperouse Museum.

Receveur Mass organised by St Andrews, Malabar,  commences at 11.00.  Randwick City Council sponsors a marquee and chairs are provided.  Friends of the Laperouse Museum and Rotary provide assistance.
